Learn by Watching 👀
Looking to be invited to all the meetings and a part of the ongoing discussion? Learn the design tools so you can truly be everywhere the product is being discussed.
To me, Figma is the gold standard of design tools. It makes iteration and collaboration so easy and is truly not that difficult to learn.

Microcopy Bite 💬
From the store to the product itself, Figma’s writing team is getting the job done!
Love that they used the copy in the store to amuse users already familiar with the product and provide a great way of understanding layers and components to potentially new users. Brilliant!
Their writing in the product is also excellent. It’s clear, uses active voice, and utilizes microcopy at moments when the user might need just a bit more context to move forward with confidence.
Moment of Mirth 😂
No doubt we’ve all been here before. If not waiting for an invite to the file…, then waiting for permission to edit 😬.
All jokes aside, though, learning to use Figma efficiently enough to make your contributions directly in the files will help to keep you at the top of your mind as the team works on the file.
