Community Spotlight š¦
Just like a Groundhog, we went ādiggingā into the past of our Microcopy and UX Writing group on Facebook, and we came back with gold.
I love the whole exchange, but most of all, Dashiellās nugget of truth here: āUser testing reveals all.ā
Keep on keeping on UX Writing community!

Microcopy š¤
Letās take a second to talk about the microcopy of the always-popular IMDB. šæ
They manage to convey and organize a lot of information in a very condensed way, which is great.
Picking a movie can be a frustrating process, and we don't want to get bogged down in reading a lot.
Iād love to know more about the user research they did to arrive at this configuration. It simultaneously meets the needs of someone quickly trying to figure out who was in the film, where they can watch it, and if other people liked it while also allowing a true movie buff an opportunity to learn more about the film, share their opinion, and more.

UX Humorš¤£

A: He realized it would be six more weeks before heād receive an invite to edit the Figma file.

Events šļø
Our Future Proof event series is officially off and running in 2024. Jon Yablonski absolutely amazed us last week with his talk on psychology and UX.
Check out whoās joining us in the coming months and reserve your seats! šŖ

Portfolio Showcase š¼ļø

Forecasting the future of AI š¤
There is perhaps no more trusted source of forecasting than Punxsutawney Phil š. So naturally, we asked him to ādig upā some predictions for the coming year in AI and UX.
We think youāll agree; he found some pretty interesting insights.

Book Recs š
In the spirit of Groundhogās Day and repeating the same thing again and again, weāve got to make a recommendation that weāve made once or twice š¤before.
There is no finer intro into the world of UX Writing than that of Torrey Podmajerskyās Strategic Writing for UX.
